Our company is named after our Grandmother who taught us about excellence, fulfillment and assertiveness.We decided to assemble a company that can represent all of the intrinsic worth that our Grandmother taught us.

Christine Alford, our paternal grandmother, cherished the orchids that flourished in her greenhouse. She lived with type 1 diabetes most of her life.  And like the flowers she tended to meticulously, she monitored her disease carefully.   Insulin and a blood meter were her constant companions.  And though she lived a long and full life, raising 2 sons and handling a husband, she, unfortunately experienced extreme complications and was relegated to a wheel chair.
